Day 49-50: Utila, Honduras

The weather decided to act like it really is December (which has been a bit hard to remember with "cold" weather here being in the 70's). Storm clouds dump heavy drops of water and a howling wind blows a fine mist through the folding window slats. Conditions like this don't lend themselves to diving so it's just as well that we are back on Utila taking care of email and even figuring out how to get the internet phone working.

Everyone seem to vanish when the rain comes and we follow suit with the Friday special of rent 3 movies get 1 free at the island movie store/theater. We are pondering whether to do more diving... while it's expensive compared to what we have been spending on a daily basis, it's way cheaper here than pretty much anywhere in the world.

Now it looks as though J's brother Bubs will be joining us so we'll start the advanced diving certification course when he arrives which should be on the Monday ferry.

Saturday: J's birthday. More chillin', reading and more movies.

Knock, knock. Hey look, Bubs is here. Just in time for J's birthday! Sweetness. Looks like we start diving again tomorrow.
